Archer Aviation has released its second-quarter 2025 earnings, showcasing significant progress in scaling production of its Midnight eVTOL aircraft and strengthening its global footprint. The company reported six Midnight aircraft in production, including three in final assembly across facilities in California and Georgia, with FAA reviews underway for its production certification.
One of the most notable achievements this quarter was Archer’s selection as the Official Air Taxi Provider for the LA28 Olympic Games, a landmark that positions the company at the center of public adoption of eVTOL services. Archer also worked with the U.S. Department of Transportation, the FAA, and the White House on a June 2025 Executive Order promoting U.S. leadership in eVTOL deployment, aiming for early commercial operations as soon as 2026.
International expansion advanced with the launch of the UAE Edition Program in collaboration with Abu Dhabi Aviation and the Abu Dhabi Investment Office. Archer delivered its first Midnight aircraft to the UAE and began flight testing in Abu Dhabi, with initial commercial payments expected later this year.
The company also accelerated its defense strategy, acquiring patents and key talent from Overair, along with specialized defense composite manufacturing assets from Mission Critical Composites. Archer Defense is now engaging with four major allied defense programs globally.
Financially, Archer ended Q2 with over $1.7 billion in cash and equivalents, underscoring a strong balance sheet. The company posted GAAP operating expenses of $176.1 million, a net loss of $206 million, and non-GAAP adjusted EBITDA at a loss of $118.7 million. For Q3 2025, Archer forecasts adjusted EBITDA losses between $110 million and $130 million.
